Our Founder and Father

Neal Aspey 1923-2007

Joseph Neal Aspey, or "Neal" served in the Navy during WWII, was honorably dischared, and later worked for several lumber yards from Albuquerque, NM to Ft Morgan to Sterling, Colorado, before buying the vacant lumber yard property in 1962 and founding The Hudson Lumber Co. (later named Farm and Home Lumber) He began his new adventure by bringing his wife Jane and five kids Diana, Linda, Joe, Vicki and Bob to Hudson.

We Our Costomers

Many of our customers have been more than just patrons, they have been good life long friends. In the early days when Neal was in Denver picking up orders and Jane was left to run the store, they not only loaded their own material but would assist the other customers. Our custumers have been monumental in making us who we are today.
